The applicant must have extensive experience setting up artwork in InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop with excellent attention to detail. The ideal applicant will have at least one to two years experience working in a studio or pre-press environment.

Previous experience in the print industry and a degree/HND would be preferable but are not essential.

Working closely with the lead graphic designer the applicant will get the opportunity to produce artwork for a number of different clients. With a varied workload the successful applicant can expect to work on multi page brochures, newsletters, catalogues, NCR forms, posters, flyers, banners and signage in a busy environment within tight deadlines.

The applicant should be a good team player and will be required where necessary to carry out other duties within the studio environment. These tasks will involve pre-press checks of customer supplied artwork, preparing artwork for printing and the running of digital/wide format print presses. Full training can be provided for these duties.

Experience in the following areas would be desirable but is not essential:

• Creative graphic design

• Pre-press and imposition

• Web and digital design

• Social media marketing and design

The vacancy could potentially be filled as a part time roll.
